31st Salon de Gourmets: a mandatory date for the Horeca channel

Here it comes, a key date for every Horeca professional that needs to stay abreast of the latest advances and trends in the sector. It is the 31st edition of the Salon de Gourmets, the International Fine Food and Beverages International Fair, which takes place until next Thursday April 27th at IFEMA Congresses and Events Madrid.

Spread around 52,000 m2 and 4 pavilions, it boasts 37,500 products and 1,500 exhibitors and expects around 85,000 visitors. These figures are what turn the Salon de Gourmets into the main European professional event dedicated to delicatessen products.

The fair will have a broad international representation, with participation from Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Peru, Portugal, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. Canada is the Country of Honour this year, and will have a broad display of products, such as seafood and fish from the Arctic, the Atlantic and the Pacific, along with excellent quality meats.

The Spanish diversity will be well represented too at this 31st edition of the Salon de Gourmets. Professional visitors will get their chance to travel up and down the different regions, discovering the most prominent quality food and beverages from each of them.

Just like in previous editions, the event includes many activities, different spaces and award ceremonies.
