Alimentaria 2018 warms up

We are still months away from its arrival, but one of the most important fairs in the sector, Alimentaria 2018, is already warming up and prepping for one of its most international editions. The event will take place at Fira Barcelona from April 16th to 19th on 2018 and, for its first time, will be celebrated simultaneously with Hostelco, the international Hotel & Restaurant Trade Show. There is no doubt, this is the unmissable appointment with innovation and the latest sector trends.

A trade show made up by six smaller fairs that make up for a global perspective on the sector. Distributed in different pavilions, visitors may discover a variety of themed halls, such as Multiple Foods, a show window in which to discover sweets, snacks, oils, Mediterranean-related food or delicatessen and ecological food, or Expoconser, with the latest advances in preserves, smoked, salted, marinated or pre-cooked food varieties.

Wine will have its own dedicated place at Intervin, a fair that brings together importers, exporters, distributors, wholesalers, agents and representatives of the Horeca channel, food service, distribution, specialized retail, sommeliers and chefs, among other professionals from Spain and abroad interested in the world of wine.

At the same time, Intercan will be once again the international hub for the meat industry, backed by the largest producers and the most relevant industry associations and institutions, while Interlact will strengthen its current position as the key commercial platform for milk and dairy products manufacturers.

In parallel, Restaurama consolidates as the strategic partner for the national catering industry and becomes the loudspeaker for the latest gastronomic trends and the best chefs in the country through the creation space The Alimentaria Experience. Beside the latest service offer for restaurateurs, the exhibitors firms at Restaurama offer multiple sampling and tasting activities, along with cooking techniques demonstrations.

Six specialised trade shows that crown Alimentaria 2018 as a complete showcase for the sector, a not-to-be-missed rendezvous for professionals that want to know first hand what´s happening today and what´s coming ahead.
