Food Fairs: the no-to-be-missed dates

New fairs, great annual meetings… The sector´s 2017 fair calendar is preceded by the absence of Alimentaria, biannual, but loaded with plenty of other new staff. The Hospitality Innovation Planet (HIP), the International Gourmet Club Salon and the Frozen Sea Products International Fair (CONXEMAR), will be the places to be for the next few months.

2017 brings us a new professional fair addressed to HORECA professionals: Hospitality Innovation Planet (HIP), a new exhibition and congress with the clear objective of making known the latest trends, innovation and new business models for hotels, restaurants and bars. It will take place at IFEMA – Feria de Madrid between February 19th and 21st 2017. Eurofrits-Aviko will participate in its debut with a stand in which ChefBurger, our most innovative range, will sit in the spotlight.

The next big date will be the International Gourmet Club Salon, which will celebrate its 31st anniversary between April 24th and 27th at IFEMA, Feria de Madrid. This congress, dedicated to top-notch quality food and beverage, has become the most important in Europe in its kind. Attendants have a chance to participate in a “Sensorial workshop”, where organisers aim to bring the food universe to the general public, including young people and children, aside from showcasing the latest trends in fine food, nutrition and food safety, and a vast yet select repertoire of every food and beverage.

After the summer will come the 19th edition of Frozen Sea Products International Fair (CONXEMAR), which between October 3rd and 5th 2017 will become once more the meeting point for the whole sector in the process of frozen food products of the sea: transformers, distributors, importers and exporters. The fair is celebrated at IFEVI, Vigo´s fair recint, in Pontevedra, and has become one of the most important trade fairs there are.

Big occasions for a sector with sound growth expectations for the year to come.
